Fenwick asked us to capture the atmosphere of their flagship Newcastle store during the busiest time of the year. The brief was straightforward: make people feel something. Not a hard sell — just the warmth, the tradition, and the experience of walking through those doors in December.
We spent three days filming across the store — from the iconic window display reveal to the gift hall, the food hall, and the quiet moments between the crowds. We used a mix of handheld and gimbal work to keep the footage feeling natural, letting real customers and staff reactions drive the story rather than scripted moments.
The final film was used across Fenwick’s social channels and in-store screens throughout the Christmas period. It became one of their most-shared pieces of video content that season — proof that when you lead with feeling rather than product, people pay attention.
