The Story
Started with a camera.
Grew through the work.
I started DS Media in Newcastle upon Tyne with a straightforward belief: cinematic production shouldn't be reserved for big-budget agencies. Businesses deserve the same level of craft and storytelling — without the overhead.
What began with wedding films and event coverage has grown into a full production service spanning corporate campaigns, conferences, brand films, and photography. I bring in trusted collaborators when a project calls for it, but every shoot still gets my direct, hands-on attention.
I've been doing this full-time since 2020 — working with national organisations and local businesses across the UK and beyond. The approach hasn't changed: understand the story first, plan carefully, then produce work that actually moves people.

Post-production is handled on professional grading tools with licensed music libraries. No bloated agency workflow — just solid gear, experienced hands, and a focus on getting the best possible result from every shoot.
