Lauren and John chose Hardwick Hall Hotel in Northumberland for their summer wedding — a venue surrounded by wildflower meadows with a beautifully restored stone barn at its centre. They wanted a film that felt relaxed and natural, capturing the day as it happened rather than a polished, over-directed production.
We arrived early to film the preparations at both locations, then covered the outdoor ceremony among the meadows, the drinks reception in the courtyard, and the evening celebrations inside the barn. The golden hour light across the Northumberland countryside gave us some of the best footage we’ve captured all year. We kept the camera work unobtrusive, using long lenses to stay back and let genuine moments unfold.
The final film runs just under eight minutes and is set to a track Lauren and John chose together. It opens with the morning preparations, builds through the ceremony, and closes with the first dance and sparkler send-off. They told us it was exactly what they hoped for — a film that feels like being back in the day.
