Wedding Videographer Newcastle — Cinematic Films, Honest Storytelling

Wedding videographer in Newcastle and the North East. Cinematic films, full ceremony coverage, and 5-star reviews. Documentary-led, no staged moments.

Why Video

Photos freeze a moment.
Film brings it back to life.

Your dad's voice cracking mid-speech. The way your partner looked at you when you walked down the aisle. Your best friend's laugh during the first dance.

These aren't things a photograph can hold — but a film lets you feel them all over again, twenty years from now. That's what wedding videography gives you: not just a record of what happened, but a way back into how it felt.

We've filmed weddings across the North East and beyond since 2020 — from grand country houses and converted barns to city centre hotels and clifftop elopements. Every couple is different. Every day has its own rhythm. Our job is to document yours without ever getting in the way of it.

Our approach is simple: be present, be invisible, and never ask you to fake a moment. The result is a wedding film that feels honest, looks cinematic, and sounds like your actual day — not a generic love story set to piano music.

Our Philosophy

What makes our Newcastle wedding films different

Candid documentary wedding moment

01

Documentary first

We don't ask you to recreate moments or stage reactions. The best wedding films come from watching, anticipating, and being in the right place at the right time. Our approach is observational — we move quietly, shoot discreetly, and let your day unfold naturally. You'll barely notice we're there, but when you watch the film back, you'll see we caught everything: the glances, the tears, the in-jokes only your table understood.

02

Cinematic craft

Documentary doesn't mean handheld and shaky. We shoot on cinema-grade cameras with prime lenses, gimbal stabilisers, and wireless lapel microphones that capture every word of your vows and speeches crystal clear. The colour grading is warm and filmic — not oversaturated or trendy. We're blending the honesty of documentary coverage with the polish of cinematic production, so every frame feels intentional without ever looking staged.

03

The full story

Your wedding film isn't just a highlight reel — it's the whole arc of the day. The nervous excitement of getting ready with your closest people. The tears during the ceremony that caught everyone off guard. The speech that brought the house down. The moment the dance floor finally kicked off. We edit for feeling, not just footage — building a narrative that follows the emotional rhythm of your day from the first frame to the last.

Featured Film

Jas & Greg — A Day Full of Joy

Jas & Greg's wedding was pure joy from morning to night. The energy in the room during the speeches was electric, and the dance floor was packed before the first dance even finished. This highlight film captures the love, the laughter, and the chaos that made their day unforgettable.

Your Day

What a typical wedding day looks like with us

Every wedding is different, but here's a rough idea of how we work through the day — quietly, carefully, and always with an eye on the moments that matter most.

Morning

Getting ready

We arrive while you're getting ready with your closest people. The champagne pouring, the nervous laughter, the final adjustments. These are some of the most natural, intimate moments of the day — and they set the tone for everything that follows.

Ceremony

Vows & first moments

Multi-angle coverage with wireless audio captures every word of your vows and the reactions of the people you love. We position ourselves carefully — visible enough to catch everything, discreet enough that you forget we're there.

Afternoon

Portraits, speeches & golden hour

A few minutes for portraits — guided but never forced. Then the speeches: every word, every laugh, every room-wide gasp captured with dedicated audio. If the light's right, we'll steal you away for five minutes of golden hour footage that'll become the centrepiece of your highlight film.

Evening

First dance

The evening kicks off with your first dance — one of the most cinematic moments of the day. We capture the atmosphere, the crowd reaction, and those first few songs on the dance floor before wrapping up. It's the perfect ending to your film's story.

After

Edit & delivery

Within the first week, you'll receive preview clips — short social-ready moments to share while you wait. Your full highlight film and ceremony edit are delivered within 8–12 weeks, colour-graded, scored to music, and ready to rewatch for decades.

In Their Words

What our couples say

We've watched our wedding film more times than we can count. Darius captured moments we didn't even know happened. The highlight reel had both our families in tears — it's genuinely the best money we spent on the whole wedding.

Lauren & John

Hardwick Hall Hotel

We barely noticed Darius during the day, which is exactly what we wanted. But the footage? Incredible. He caught moments between our guests that we'd never have seen otherwise. Our parents still watch it regularly.

Jas & Greg

Summer Wedding

We nearly didn't book a videographer — so glad we did. The preview clips Darius sent the next week were unreal. Our friends couldn't believe the quality. The full film is everything we hoped for and more.

Meet Your Filmmaker

Hi, I'm Darius

FAQ

Common Questions

Do you stage moments?

No. Our approach is documentary-led with minimal interruption so your day stays natural. We guide when needed for portraits, but the rest is captured as it happens.

What films are included?

Most couples choose a cinematic highlight film (3–5 minutes) plus full ceremony and speeches coverage. We also offer same-day edits and social teasers.

Can you work with our photographer?

Yes. We coordinate closely with photographers before and during the day so both teams capture everything without getting in each other's way.

How long until we receive our films?

Highlight films are typically delivered within 8–12 weeks. Full ceremony and speeches edits follow shortly after. We send preview clips within the first week so you have something to share while you wait.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We're based in the North East but regularly film weddings across the UK and have covered destination weddings abroad. Travel costs are included for venues within 50 miles.

What equipment do you use?

We shoot on cinema-grade cameras with prime lenses, gimbal stabilisers, and wireless audio systems. For aerials, we use licensed drones where venue and conditions permit.

Can we choose the music for our film?

We select tracks from a licensed music library that match the tone of your day. You're welcome to suggest songs or styles — we'll find the right fit together.

How much does wedding videography cost?

Our wedding videography packages start from £800 for ceremony-only coverage and go up to £3,000 for full-day cinematic films with drone footage, same-day edits, and social teasers. Most couples invest between £1,200 and £2,000. Every quote is fixed upfront with no hidden costs.
